While Microsoft enables Game DVR by default on your computer, it does not provide any options in the Windows 10 Settings Menu to Disable or Configure Game DVR in any way. Once you disable Game DVR it also disables the “Game Bar” and you won’t be able to take Screen shots or record Videos of your Game Play using Game DVR. To make the process easier you should name each image with the location it is. I opened settings in windows and went to the game DVR, I then pressed open folder next to location, after that I right clicked the Captures folder, selected properties and moved its location to the root of my second hard drive. Hence, it does makes sense to disable Game DVR on low end PC’s and also on Mid-Range Gaming PC’s, in case this feature is slowing down Game Play or leading to other performance issues. The Xbox Game Bar requires Windows 10 or newer, this is a limitation set. Hi so I’m having an issue with the windows 10 game DVR, let me explain the issue.
